Medical Scribe employees are trained primarily to work in doctors’ offices and other ambulatory care clinics, or inpatient facilities as an integral member of the allied health care delivery team to assist in real-time clinical documentation. The Medical Scribe Program, a Competency Based Education training program, will provide students with the necessary knowledge and skills to competently perform the duties of a medical scribe as defined by local and national standards.
